Workshop on Modeling Multimedia Support in Next Generation High Speed Networks (NGHSN99)

Highly demanding applications such as multimedia are becoming more and more important in todays high speed networks. The design of future communication infrastructures will be strongly influenced by experiences made today, and support for modern application will be available. However, making such applications feasible will not work when based on ad-hoc solutions due to the high complexity of the whole problem field. Rather, models, simulation and analysis should be employed to direct future developments.
