DAIS99 denotes the second international IFIP working conference on distributed applications and interoperability. DAIS99 will provide a forum for researchers, application and platform service vendors and users to review, discuss and learn about new approaches and concepts in the fields of distributed computing. DAIS99 will focus on interoperability and federation between different application and platform level services, as well as on relevant properties of open systems.

DAIS99 includes invited speakers, full technical paper sessions, and work-in-progress presentations. Also tutorials are encouraged.
